Dvára Sanctuary

a sacred space for personal and communal renewal and remembering

Located in SE Portland, Oregon

Dvâra began with a vision: to have a space where community can come to heal, thrive, create and transform together.

It is a living sanctuary—a threshold between the everyday and the sacred—where rituals, sound, art, and earth-based practices invite people to remember their true nature and authentic power.

Today that vision is alive as a medicine temple and creative hub, welcoming all who seek deep rest, authentic expression, and collaborative ways to re-imagine the world.

Below is where you can find our monthly circles, events and workshops to RSVP. More events and updates coming soon :)

We are thrilled to welcome you to our sanctuary.

Monthly Events

Kirtan w/ Jenn Noble & Friends

Saturday, Nov 7th 6-8pm

Kirtan is the devotional practice of call-and-response chanting.
I’m inviting you into it through the lens of Tantra, an embodied path that treats breath, sound, and sensation as doorways to the divine.

Between chants, I’ll guide you to feel the mantra moving through your body, to breathe into what opens, and to rest in the stillness that follows, so the music becomes something you feel all the way through as well as something you sing.

Whether you’ve been chanting for years or have never sung in a room full of strangers, there’s a place for you here, no belief system and no experience required.

I’ll be joined by a circle of gifted professional musicians, filling the room with live instruments and lush harmony, as we gather at Dvāra Sanctuary to open our hearts and remember our connection to each other, to ourselves, and to the divine.

Ala cart cacao service will also be available.

Wisdom Lab: Meditation & Community Circle

With Charley Zheng | Monday, Oct 26th 7-830p

Wisdom Lab is a monthly gathering that blends meditation with community connection.

Wisdom Lab is shifting and evolving this month into a monthly group experience that bridges meditation practice with connection and community.

We all carry wisdom, accumulated through experience, reflection, and inner work. But across cultures and centuries, long traditions also understand wisdom as something that arises more deeply and powerfully between people, in spaces where individuals gather with shared presence and intention.

Embodied Empowerment (Women’s Circle)

Embodied Empowerment with Christine Marie & Charley Zheng
Tuesday, Nov 17th 6:30pm-8:30pm

A women’s workshop for accessing and embodying person power.

Most of us were never taught how to hold our own power. We caught glimpses of it and then contracted, dimmed, made ourselves smaller to fit the spaces we were handed. This workshop is an unlearning of that.

Through somatic experiencing, shamanic drum journeying, and reflective writing and sharing, Christine Marie and Charley Zheng will guide you into a deeper discovery of your own power and help you build the capacity to actually hold it. To carry it home. To let it change the way you move through your everyday life.

You will be moved. You will be witnessed. You will leave with more of yourself than you walked in with. To keep the intimacy of the group, there are only 8 spots available and can be reserved by signing up ahead of time or at a first-come, first-serve basis.

Monthly Breathwork & Cacao Sound Journey

We open with cacao and song to awaken the heart, then guide you through a breathwork sound immersion that encourages profound rest, release, and inner realignment. You’ll leave feeling nourished, connected, and renewed.

Prepare to gain clarity on what you need to release and how to move forward.

Let us gather in sacred circle and explore deeper together.

Seasonal & Rotating Offerings

In addition to our monthly gatherings, Dvára occasionally offers seasonal and rotating experiences.

These special events may include workshops, guest teachers, ceremonial offerings, or immersive gatherings that arise from the unique energies of the season and the needs of our community. Each one is thoughtfully curated and offered for a limited time.

Because these offerings shift throughout the year, details and dates are shared as they emerge.
